My husband just got a new tattoo that he has been wanting for some time, this last weekend. It is "shalom" in hebrew on his forearm. Shalom not only means peace as in to pacify, but peace that comes from our God and settles in your soul, the peace that changes who you are and how you treat others. I can say that Chris really has this peace, and it has been such a great thing for us and our relationship. He really does live out shalom, and it has even affected me over the years. It will be fun to see how many interesting converstions he will have because of it!
